charger > charging station
A charging station by means of electric mobility describes the hardware to charge electric vehicles and summarizes the visible charging infrastructure electric vehicles need to be connected to to get their batteries charged. This definition includes stand-alone chargers, as well as wallboxes or fast charging stations. Depending on the occasion different charging stations deliver different charging currents. Typically charging stations where electric vehicles are parked for longer durations will offer slower charging speeds. This could be the case for over the night parking and parking at the workspace. The opposite of those charging stations are HPC charging stations that will deliver high charging currents to fill up the battery as quickly as possible. Those are typically found at highways to ensure the power supply for long distance travelling.
