A micro-grid-integration is the most advanced power limit mechanism that can be applied to smart charging infrastructure. The available energy will always be checked live and distributed as intelligent as possible between different charging infrastructure based on the dedicated smart charing distribution mechanism. An adapting charging system based on a live request of available energy at the grid connection offers the maximum power to the smart charging system based on the limits of the grid connection. The power available for the charging infrastructure changes dynamically based on other consumers at the same grid connection. In some cases even bidirectional charging based on battery storages or the batteries in the cars can be taken into account to use the electric vehicles as additional energy storage. This can be practical when renewable energy production and energy self supply want to be achieved.
