Synonyms: multi-phase control
In many regions of the world, the electrical energy grid has three phases. The rotating currents in the phases add up to the total power of the charging connectors of our charging stations. Together they provide the higher charging powers of a charging station (compared to a regular domestic socket). But not all phases are always evenly utilized. To prevent overload of single phases a phase control logic is needed. Without it the load management controller has to work with estimates. Unfortunately this is limiting the flexibility of the load management system and thus the available charging power. These products has automated phase control functionality integrated or allows phase control.
