3.7 kW

3.7 kilowatt (kW) is a rather low charging power that can be obtained from standard household sockets. A common plug system that can supply a maximum of 3.7 kW is, for example, the SchuKo system (protective contact plug system). Plug systems with low charging powers can be used for the charging process. However, since household sockets are not designed for high charging currents over long periods of time they should only be considered as an emergency solution. A permanent charging solution can be created by using additional equipment.
