The most advanced smart charging distribution mechanism is dynamic demand distribution. This mechanism relies on an input of the actual charging needs. This input could be done via an app or could be set in a management system. An input would deliver the charging infrastructure the following information: “I need to have charged 24 kWh until 12:30 o’clock.” The smart Charging system will take this charging need into account when distributing the energy between the different charge points. Depending on the charging needs that are set and the available power the smart charging mechanism will try to fulfill this needs as good as possible.
