fair share

Fair share by means of a smart charging distribution mechanism describes that the available grid power will be distributed equally between the charge points within the smart charging scope. A typical example of fair share is when there is a 22 kW connection for two AC charge points. Each charge point is capable to deliver 22 kW and will do this as long as only that charge point is in use. The other is not connected or not charging. As soon as both charge points are used, the power will be distributed equally between the two cars. Each car will be charged with 11 kW (= 22 kW / 2 cars).
