LTE (long term evolution) describes a mobile communications standard for fast data transmission. LTE essentially consists of a series of extensions to the UMTS standard known as 3G. LTE has been available since 2009 and offers download rates of up to 300MBit/s. Since 2019, there has been the new radio standard 5G, which promises data rates of up to 10GBit/s. LTE will continue to be operated in parallel. However, the focus of the network expansion is now on 5G. This product can use LTE for Internet connection
